Glebe Primary school achieve Sing Up Platinum award!

Congratulations to Glebe Primary school in achieving their Platinum Sing Up award!

These are the endorser's comments:
"I'm delighted to endorse Glebe Primary School’s Platinum Award. Singing is threaded through and embedded in everything your school does. It's admirable to hear that singing is used to celebrate and recognise the different cultures within the school, giving all the pupils and staff a chance to learn about these too. The pupils are given the opportunity to sing from nursery through to Year 6. The young singing leaders scheme also ensures that all children have something to aspire to as they progress through the school.

It’s clear that all the teachers have embraced singing within their classrooms and the Headteacher and governors have taken an active role to ensure singing is at the heart of school life.

The collaborations with another primary school, a local secondary school and the Music Service have also provided the pupils with opportunities to experience singing outside the school day. It’s great to hear that these partnerships will be developed and other relationships will be made now you are an ambassador singing school."

Congratulations to all at Glebe Primary School!

Welcome to Harrow Music Service

"Taking into account the views of schools, parents, pupils and staff along with evidence provided, Harrow Music Service provides a good service for the community of Harrow. Agreed areas of strength are the festivals co-ordinated by HMS and the breadth of provision offered by the service that increasingly reflects the diverse community of Harrow."
 - Federation of Music Services Moderation report 2009

"Harrow Music Service is a good, responsive music service, with some very good features, notably opportunities for the world and popular music and its expanding provision of curriculum support for schools."
 - Ofsted 2004
