The Band, Guitar and String Festivals all follow the same format; the borough is dissected into four areas and the children meet in clusters for a days rehearsal in the week leading up to the Festival. The week then culminates in a grand concert to which the parents are invited.

Involvement in each of the festivals is by invitation. Each child's teacher will decide if it would be appropriate and beneficial for the individual pupil to participate.
