• All instruments are of good quality and are in good working order
• All instruments have been approved by HMS specialist teachers
• The hire charge will be cheaper than that offered by music shops in the borough
• There is a remissions policy for families on income support

Below is a list of instruments currently available through the HMS Instrument Hire Scheme

• The preferred method of payment for the HMS Instrument Hire Scheme is by Direct Debit.
• In addition to the above HMS also offers two schemes to support tuition in 'endangered' and 'world music' instruments.
• The following instruments are available for a subsidised loan for the first year of learning (while stocks last) from HMS through the Endangered & Protected Species Scheme.

• The following instruments are available for a subsidised loan for the first year of learning (while stocks last) from HMS through the World Music Scheme.

If you are interested in hiring an instrument from HMS please download an application form, complete it and return it to us. We will ask you to fill in a Direct Debit form when you collect the instrument.
