Harrow Music Service aims to:

• Provide high quality music education to the maximum possible number of children who attend Harrow's maintained First, Middle, Special and High Schools.
• Widen access to music in schools through a programme of activities which recognises the cultural diversity of the borough as well as the needs of children in challenging circumstances.
• Provide instrumental tuition and performance opportunities across the whole range of instruments.
• Provide curriculum support to classroom teachers in schools, particularly where confidence is not strong.
• Work in partnership with Adult and Community Learning, Arts and Leisure Services, Harrow Young Musicians and other local, regional and national organisations to develop musical opportunities and initiatives in the wider community.
