Pupil's success story

Congratulations to Xavier Stavrou-Long, one of our Year 4 West Lodge pupils, for gaining a place at the Purcell School in September.

Xavier began learning French Horn with his music service teacher Julie Dysch following a Wider Opportunities recorder programme at West Lodge and has already achieved grade 3 Trinity/Guildhall with a mark of 91% after only one year !

Prior to this Xavier was already having much success with the cello (taught by Judith Lark) and has achieved grade 4 this term. Xavier is also a member of Harrow Young Musicians and currently plays cello in the Academy Strings.

Xavier will study french horn, cello and piano at Purcell School and we wish him every success!
